Back in 2017, my good friends started the music label Late Night Burners and asked me to design their logo. Young and inexperienced as we were, their design brief was as meagre as, “We make house music.” The result? A logo that’s quite literally a house. But the story runs deeper than that.
In their early days, they hosted countless house parties that stretched late into the night, often making theirs the last lit house in Amsterdam’s tightly packed neighborhoods. That iconic image of the final living room with its lights still on, the party still burning, became the inspiration for their logo—a true mark of those memorable nights.
Fast forward over seven years, Late Night Burners has grown into a thriving label with a collection of sold-out records.
This post features the original logo and some of the label’s earliest releases, complete with the burning mascots—pure fire.
